ice showed up at my house a few days ago asking about one of my foster sons, who is legally in the us and has had his request for asylum approved.
there were three of them, two in ice uniforms (no mask) and the one in plain clothes who spoke with me. he said they were just verifying the addresses of refugee (and asylum, apparently) youth. then they left, but it was very disturbing.
i have four foster sons here, but they only asked about the one with a spanish surname.
