A major ICE surge is underway across California targeting cities from San Diego to Fresno and up to the Bay Area.
The new surge comes just a month before mid-term elections, with DHS announcing ICE would be targeting “sanctuary” cities in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington D.C., Illinois, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
New ICE teams have been observed on the ground conducting simultaneous city-wide operations in various cities across California and other states.
Preliminary tells us the following:
- New ICE teams in Fresno, CA arriving from Arizona
- New ICE teams are on the ground across Southern California from San Diego up to Los Angeles, Santa Maria, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties. Many new vehicles have arrived from Arizona.
- New ICE teams arriving and operating in Oakland / Bay Area.
- New ICE teams back in Portland OR after returning from operations in Seattle, WA. Additional ICE teams remain in Washington targeting Seattle, Tukwila, Olympia, Tacoma and other areas.
- New ICE teams operating in Danbury, CT
Many new ICE agents are arriving from other states which means many hotels have likely been booked up. Check nearby hotels for any confirmed BOLOs.
Remember: You have a right to observe and photograph any vehicle license plate in public view.
