A leaked Justice Department memo directs federal prosecutors to press "domestic terrorism" charges against individuals who records immigration operations.

Statement from StopICE.net:

The DOJ and Trump Administration are trying to target anyone filming ICE operations as "domestic terrorists."

Reminder:
You have a constitutional First Amendment right to take photos and videos of law enforcement officers performing their duties in public. This includes police, FBI, national guard troops, ICE agents, and whoever the people are running around in masks who refuse to identify themselves claim to be.

We encourage everyone to assert this right at all times when witnessing ICE activity in their neighborhood.

We will continue scaling up the StopICE.net nation-wide mobile alert system and continue reporting on ICE activity across the country. This is our constitutional right, and we will continue asserting it.

Together we keep us safe, and together we have power in numbers.
